Road and Bridge staff presented the department’s March activity summary and told the court they closed 37 service requests during the month. Staff listed recent work that included building two water‑crossing structures on County Roads 318 and 343, installing cattle guards on County Roads 174 and 366, cleaning ditches and culverts at multiple locations, removing 42 fallen trees from roadways and installing new signage.
Commissioners asked clarifying questions about locations and upcoming work, and staff gave a brief inventory of pending tasks. Commissioner Matthews moved to accept the road and bridge report; the court seconded and approved the motion.
Staff also noted ongoing maintenance needs and pointed to several sites that will require further engineering or follow‑up. The court did not authorize additional construction contracts at the meeting but noted these items for future procurement and budgeting conversations.
