The St. Charles County Council issued a proclamation recognizing Family Vision Education Center and its work connecting homeschooled youth to internships, mentors and workforce credentials.
Brad Lambert, interim co‑director of Family Vision, said the center aims to "prepare the next generation of leaders, workers, entrepreneurs and citizens who will strengthen St. Charles County for years to come," and asked for a partnership of employers, educators, churches and public officials to build a bridge from homeschooling to careers. The County Executive read the proclamation noting "over 5,000 families in St. Charles County" and more than "62,000 statewide." The council invited Family Vision representatives forward for a photo after the proclamation.
Family Vision’s presentation emphasized workforce‑oriented outcomes for homeschooled students and a goal of helping students obtain industry credentials before age 20. The proclamation language linked the center’s mission to county priorities for economic development and workforce readiness.
