ACRPC to hold May 11 regional review of amended New Haven Town Plan under state statute

ACRPC Community Planner Katie Raycroft‑Meyer will warn a public hearing for May 11 to conduct regional review of New Haven’s amended Town Plan pursuant to 24 V.S.A. §4350. The ACRPC Local Government Committee will evaluate the plan against statutory criteria and then forward a recommendation to the full commission.
The commission also noted a statutory requirement for the Selectboard to notify the Planning Commission regarding discontinuance of Road #37, which is scheduled for May 19. The May 11 regional review and subsequent recommendation are steps required by state law before the plan proceeds to final actions.
