The Warrenton‑Hammond School District 30 Board of Directors on June 1 adopted its 2026–27 budget and levied ad valorem taxes under Resolution 25‑26‑4 following a recommendation from the budget committee.
Business Manager Mohawk told the board the budget the committee approved in May was sent forward with no changes. The board conducted a roll‑call vote and the chair announced the motion passed "5 to 0 with 2 abstentions." Two directors cited conflicts of interest and abstained from the levy vote.
The vote followed public notice and the board's routine budget‑hearing procedure. The chair opened the floor for public comment specifically for the budget hearing before calling the motion. The approved budget and the levy will be implemented for the 2026–27 fiscal year per the resolution adopted by the board.
