The board voted to authorize the superintendent or business manager to enter into an agreement with T‑Mobile to lease district property for an equipment enclosure and later approved permission for T‑Mobile to construct the equipment shed, subject to city permits. Mike, the district financial/operations representative, told the board the company would lease the land "for $750 a month, for 30 years with escalating 10% every 5 years," and that the arrangement would likely increase monthly district revenue from about $1,612 to roughly $2,300.
Board members asked whether construction would affect fields or access; the district representative said the new structure would be identical to the existing shed, would not block gates or practices, and that T‑Mobile still needed city approval and permits. The motions (first, to authorize entering an agreement; second, to permit construction) were moved, seconded and passed by voice vote.
