Mayor Paul Seo said the Palos Verdes Historical Society may receive a permanent home and that the city is exploring multiple possibilities and an MOU to study options.
"I know Ken, before he passed, was pushing in. He championed that," Mayor Seo said, referencing the late Ken Dita and his prior advocacy. The mayor said city staff looked at former missile silo sites as potential locations to house historical exhibits and artifacts and that an MOU has been executed to explore options.
Mayor Seo emphasized the idea is under study and no final decision or funding plan has been announced. He said the council and staff are "hopeful" about finding an appropriate long-term location for the historical society.
