The council voted to declare several items surplus, including Dell desktop computers and four payloader tires. Council discussed estimated resale values for the tires and the mechanics of forming a surplus appraisal board of three city property owners to set values prior to auction.
Staff said they will reach out to Purple Wave to list the items for auction and will use a DocuSign appraisal form to capture board valuations. “The 4 payloaders… they're probably gonna sell for 5 to $700 a piece,” Chair (S1) said as a rough estimate. The council appointed volunteers for the appraisal board and instructed staff to proceed with the auction process; final sale proceeds and reporting will return to council.
