Chilton County Introduces Incoming Administrator Makeisha Cleckley, Effective Oct. 1

Chair introduced Cleckley and read a certificate noting she "has completed all requirements for the GEDI EDAA Leadership Institute certificate," signed by Jeremy Anthony, assistant vice president, Auburn University Outreach, and Robin Ricks, executive director, Economic Development Association of Alabama. Cleckley thanked the commission, saying, "I just appreciate the opportunity. Look forward to the new role." The board said the appointment will take effect Oct. 1, 2026.
