Lowell council unanimously approves consent agenda, including Q2 financials

The Lowell City Council unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Aug. 19, 2025 regular meeting, voting 5–0 to accept Q2 2025 financial reports, the July check and leave registers, and meeting minutes from June 17 and July 15.
Councilor Tim Stratis moved to approve the consent agenda and Councilor Don Bennett seconded. Mayor Maureen M. Weathers and Councilors Jimmy Murray and Gail Harris joined the motion for a recorded vote that showed all members voting yes. The approval follows the council’s routine review of quarterly finances and administrative records.
No public comment was offered during the consent portion of the meeting. The council then proceeded to staff reports and presentations.
