The Nemaha County Board held a public budget hearing on Sept. 2, 2020 and received any public input before taking action later that month to adopt the FY2020–2021 budget. Commissioners adopted Resolution 2020-20 to approve the allowable increase in the base limitation and then adopted Resolution 2020-21 to approve the FY2020–2021 budget.
The board subsequently adopted Resolution 2020-22 to set the final FY2020–2021 county tax rate at 0.345263. The minutes show unanimous roll-call votes on the resolutions. The budget adoption and rate setting provide the financial framework for county programs and capital projects through the fiscal year beginning in July 2020.
