County adopts 2020–2025 One & Six Year Road Improvement Plan

On Feb. 19 the Board of Commissioners opened a public hearing on the 2020–2025 One & Six Year Plan for Road Improvements. No members of the public spoke during the hearing. With no testimony the board adopted Resolution 2020-05 formally approving the One & Six Year road plan.
At the same meeting the board reviewed fuel bids and accepted Sapp Brothers as the low bidder for March fuel deliveries. The board’s action established prioritized road projects and authorized procurement needed for construction and maintenance under the adopted plan.
The minutes record the board’s unanimous roll call votes on both the plan and the fuel bid award; follow-up tasks include coordinating engineering, contractor selection, and scheduling under the plan.
