The Daggett County RDA board voted to schedule a hearing on the appeal of the town's proposed RV dump (sewer) station for Wednesday, June 24 at 10:00.
"So there's been a motion and a 2nd made to hold the hearing for the appeal on Wednesday, June 24 at 10:00," the chair said when putting the proposal to the board. The chair and a seconding member then called for the vote.
The chair described the motion as conditional, noting the hearing must include all three board of adjustments members: "I will say that that is a con a conditional motion ... based on all 3, board members being able to be in attendance at that meeting." The board recorded unanimous assent with two "Aye" votes on the record and the motion carried.
The chair also reminded members that the planning and zoning commission must be given seven days' written notice of the meeting, a procedural requirement the board said it would fulfill before the scheduled date. The board did not discuss the substance of the appeal during the recorded segments; the item on the agenda was limited to setting the hearing date and confirming notice and attendance requirements.
Next steps: staff will provide the required notice to Planning and Zoning and the board will hold the hearing as scheduled, provided all three board of adjustments members can attend.
