During the clinic discussion, the county’s project manager, Jesse, gave a detailed account of the planned replacement facility and how services will be organized.
Jesse described roughly 3,000 square feet of clinic space that will include trauma-capable treatment rooms and ambulance access, co‑located mental‑health partner office space (Northeastern Counseling), a Tri‑County Health office, dental space, and exercise/meeting rooms in the basement. “There’s space for a pharmacy… it’s going to be a telepharmacy,” Jesse said, adding there would be a pharmacy tech on site and remote pharmacist access to answer prescription questions.
Jesse also said the building includes an 80‑person conference room (dividable into two rooms) intended for vaccination clinics, community health events and rentable uses. Commissioners asked whether dental or physical‑therapy providers had responded to the county’s RFQ; Jesse said no dentist proposal was received during that procurement stage and that the county still anticipates seeking a physical therapist and other partners for on‑site services.
