At the July 21 meeting the Select Board moved and approved the pay orders for 07/21/2026 in the amount of $44,264.81. The board also approved payroll for 07/18/2026 ($6,346.28) and payroll ending 07/11/2026 ($5,506.96) by voice votes. The town clerk/treasurer distributed the documentation and the board handled the motions in sequence.
The board then moved to adopt the 2026 Town Road and Bridge standards; the motion was seconded and carried on a voice vote. The chair reminded members that budget season begins in September and asked the task forces and presenters to prepare any line‑item requests they expect the board to consider during the budget process.
"Think about it till we start budgets in September," the chair said when members discussed possible town funding for upcoming feasibility work, signaling the board's expectation that formal budget requests should be ready for that cycle.
