Staff member (S3) said the district completed a facilities assessment and will implement an electronic incident-report form to make incident records searchable and easier to audit. "So by switching to this electronic form, then there'll be a searchable database... I can find that right now for you," S3 said, describing plans to tag incidents by type (maintenance, playground, etc.) and improve follow-up.
Board members noted that searchable incident data will help with maintenance planning and insurance (PACE) claims. Staff said the new form will indicate whether an incident is a facilities/maintenance issue and allow staff to pull records by date and type rather than scanning individual PDFs.
