"If you look at particularly, the intermediate school, in 2223, there was 372 behavior referrals. In 2324, there was 322. And in '24, '25 year to date, there's only 17," S3 said, adding that different staff input practices and local systems (Synergy vs. local trackers) affect comparability. The board asked staff to clarify which measures feed state reports and to report metrics with accompanying definitions.
