Board approves Willamette ESD 2025'27 local service plan resolution

The Yamhill Carlton SD 1 board approved the 2025'1 local service plan resolution with the Willamette Education Service District (WESD), which makes a menu of services available to participating districts.
Clint explained that the local service plan provides access to services such as autism supports, occupational therapy and certain technology services. "We enter into a local service plan with Willamette Education Service District," he said, and described the menu approach: districts will later select the specific services they will use within the available allocation. Tammy noted the pooled allocation for participating districts is "about, like, $550,000," dependent on average daily membership.
A motion to approve the WESD local service plan resolution was moved and seconded; the board voted and the motion passed. The approval allows the district to participate in the 2025'1 WESD menu and later select specific services and allocations during budget planning.
