Board moves $400,000 from contingency into capital projects fund

Tammy presented the proposal, saying the district had received more in its beginning fund balance and that the transfer would bolster funds for planned projects. "I am proposing resolution 20 25 dash o 2 to move $400,000 from our contingency fund into our capital project funds to help with future planning of our facility projects," Tammy said.
A board member asked why $400,000 was chosen; Tammy replied that it was an amount the district has used in recent years and would help keep spending within limits while bids and timelines are developed. A motion to approve the transfer was moved, seconded, and the board voted in favor; the motion passed and the resolution was recorded as approved.
