Board names Miss McAdams delegate, Miss Simmons alternate for TASB

The College Station ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to recommend Miss McAdams as its Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) delegate and Miss Simmons as the alternate.
President Ige recorded the motion and the board approved it 7–0. "I hear a motion to recommend Miss McAdams as the TASB delegate and Miss Simmons as the alternate," President Ige said before calling for the vote. No further discussion was requested and the motion carried.
The appointment came at the start of the board’s workshop session after the chair noted there were no citizens signed up for public comment. The action was procedural and required a formal vote, which was recorded by the chair as seven in favor and none opposed.
