During the roughly 15-minute session the council recorded two formal actions: it voted 0-5 to reject a proposed Park & Recreation Accountability Chart and voted 5-0 to hire Boyd VanVoorn as Parks & Recreation Coordinator, effective Oct. 14, 2024, at an annual salary of $68,972.80. The minutes note that motions were made and seconded for both items but do not identify the mover or seconder. The meeting was adjourned at 3:15 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 14, 2024.
