The Menno City Council approved warrants covering payroll taxes, insurance, utilities and vendor invoices for March on a motion by Ron Diede, seconded by Amber Cross. The roll-call vote was unanimous.
The warrants list included routine monthly items and several notable line items: Jensen Insurance property insurance for $36,627.00, B-Y Water (two months) for $10,410.50, a USDA Phase 2 sewer loan payment of $3,077.00 and Myer’s Sanitation service for 286 residential accounts at $6,855.42. Finance Officer Jodi Fischer had presented the accounts and reconciliations during the review.
