Menno council approves agenda, minutes and monthly finance report

At its April 6 meeting, the Menno City Council unanimously approved the agenda, adopted minutes from March meetings and accepted the March finance report after reviewing bank statements and reconciliations.
Mayor Darrell Mehlhaf called the Menno City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on April 6, 2026. After roll call confirmed Councilmembers George Cokens, Amber Cross, Ron Diede, Jerry Fischer and Terah Schoenfish were present, the council approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Ron Diede, seconded by George Cokens.
The council then approved the minutes of the March 2 regular meeting and the March 16 equalization meeting (motion by Jerry Fischer; second by Terah Schoenfish) and accepted the March finance report (motion by George Cokens; second by Ron Diede). Finance Officer Jodi Fischer presented bank statements, credit card invoices, reconciliations and receipts during the review. All votes on these procedural items were recorded as unanimous.
