DRB approves boundary line adjustment for 2962 North Street; two members recuse

The New Haven Development Review Board on Feb. 2 approved a boundary line adjustment for parcel #45 at 2962 North Street requested by Emily and Eugene Charlebois. Applicant Eugene Charlebois explained the original subdivision had an error in lot sizing and location; he said Lot #2 should increase from approximately 2.03 acres to approximately 2.55 acres by shifting the boundary east roughly 40–50 feet (about 0.5 acre). The board recorded that an underground power line serves the lot that it serves.
Two board members recused from the matter: Kathy Barrett (identified in the minutes as sister to an applicant) and Don Johnston (identified as the applicant's surveyor). After recusals the motion to approve the boundary line adjustment was moved and seconded and carried with 4 in favor, 0 opposed, and 2 abstaining. The board closed the hearing following the vote.
