Staff reported that the third public engagement for the Drew Park master plan is underway and that the refined concept design incorporates prior feedback; an online feedback form will remain open to the commission and public through September 8. Marco Rivera urged commissioners to review the materials and provide comments.
Hana summarized the second engagement for three urban parks in Ashton Heights (Mori, Herschel Milliken, Gumbel), noting approximately 75–80 in-person participants and 165 online feedback replies. Staff plan to synthesize that input into a hybridized concept and return to PRC with a refined plan in October or November for Commission feedback before broader public release.
Commissioners were reminded that several of these park projects will come forward for detailed PRC review later this fall or winter; staff asked commissioners to participate in outreach and to share suggested wording for plan comments.
