The Montrose City Council convened a brief special session on Jan. 30, 2025. Council member Hanisch moved and Council member Scheff seconded approval of the agenda (Action 25-019); the minutes state the motion carried with no opposition.
After approving the meeting agenda the council addressed the advertised item — a proposed sale of the city bar — and passed Action 25-020 approving the sale to Kris and Shanon Weber. Council member Binder subsequently moved to adjourn, supported by Council member Scheff (Action 25-021); the meeting ended at 7:07 p.m. The minutes were attested by Finance Officer Nicole Siemonsma and a printer's affidavit and notary acknowledgment accompany the unapproved minutes and notice.
