Architect: new Pine Bluff facility in final "fit and finish" stage, on time and under budget

Clayton Baden of Lewis Architects told the board the project has reached the "fit and finish" phase and contractors are completing final mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, paving, landscaping and interior finishes. "I'm Clayton Baden with Lewis Architects," he said, and added the team expects to finish the remaining work so the district can move in.
A contractor representative described progress on interior elements including a history wall in the lobby, media center furnishings, science lab tops, auditorium acoustics and installation of movable bleachers in the arena and said final transformer work was scheduled to bring lighting online this week. Baden told the board the project was "on time and, under budget."
