The Code Enforcement Board reviewed repeated inspections showing overgrowth and outdoor storage at 122 North Alderwood (Case 2026CE000718) and ordered the property to be brought into compliance by August 27, 2026.
Laurie Revel described inspections from May through July showing appliances, containers and an accumulation of waste despite prior notices and a warning. The respondent told the board renovation activity had occurred and that much of the visible material had been removed; they offered to provide recent photographs to staff. The board agreed there was sufficient evidence to substantiate violations of Winter Springs Ordinance 13-2(b) and the IPMC weeds standard and set a compliance date of August 27 with a daily $50 fine in the event of noncompliance. "In the event that the violations are not corrected, a fine of $50 shall be imposed per day per violation until compliance is reported to and verified by city code enforcement," a motion reflected.
The board asked staff to coordinate a reinspection and to accept photographic evidence from the respondent; if staff confirms compliance the board will record the verification in its files.
