Committee chair Sherwood Randolph Jr. proposed requesting ASWB return for further dialogue and to provide materials on reliability, validity and fairness.
Stakeholder Joseph Lynch said an alternative pathway tied to additional supervision could increase supervisor accountability if supervisors are required to address targeted deficits. Board staff and committee members agreed that ASWB documentation on psychometric properties would inform whether and how an alternative pathway could be implemented.
