The board accepted the resignations of two special-education paraprofessionals effective Aug. 22, 2025 and authorized the business manager to issue letters of intent to several candidates for special-education paraprofessional positions at $17 per hour plus a $2,500 special-education stipend. The motion to authorize offers was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote. The board also authorized a $3,000 letter of understanding for the middle-school football coach for the 2025–26 school year and approved several open-enrollment applications and volunteer appointments.
Board members asked no substantive questions on compensation lines during the motion; administrators said they would proceed with written offers and onboarding, and that the business office will report back when hires are finalized.
