Developer says water, sewer mains will be extended and will stub to Parker Estates lots

Applicant and owner Ben Matson told the commission he purchased the project as already approved and that the planned infrastructure will be installed by the developer, who will provide mains and stub services to property lines.
"The the water and sewer will be ran extended down the new streets," Matson said, adding that there is currently water and sewer on South Street and that mains would be extended through the new road and along Lisonbee and Fern Streets. He said the developer is in design with engineers and will upgrade existing mains if necessary.
Matson also said the developer is communicating with the Sunnyside Valley Irrigation District to determine whether irrigation water can be provided to the new lots; the outcome of that coordination was not resolved in the hearing. Commissioners asked where meters would be located (Matson said per city code, typically at the property line) and where developer responsibility ends (Matson said at the property line, with mains deeded to the city once installed).
Engineering details, capacity upgrades, and any irrigation hookups remain subject to design review and to approvals later in the process.
