Superintendent reports Doe Run construction progress and summer programs

Superintendent provided a summer update to the board about construction progress and district programs. She said Doe Run Elementary is "moving forward pretty quickly," noted rooms and gym glazing are being completed, and said the district plans to provide an update to Doe Run families "by the end of this week or beginning of next week." The superintendent listed kindergarten screening schedules and multiple summer activities including an author visit by E.B. Lewis and an admin retreat at Lincoln University.

The superintendent praised community partnerships, summer camps, and student travel programs (including the Maestro singers' July Europe trip) and encouraged families to share summer snapshots for district social media. She closed by noting the next committee and regular board meeting dates in August.
