At a 5:30 p.m. workshop on June 3, Aaron Qualls and Andrew Oliver of SCJ Alliance presented staff reports on Comprehensive Plan update requirements focused on land capacity and housing allocations. Mayor Lindsay Baxter called the workshop to order, and council members discussed the consultant analysis with City Administrator Tonya Wallace and staff.
Qualls and Oliver outlined the technical requirements for estimating land capacity and allocating future housing units across city zones; council members reviewed the assumptions and asked for follow-up data on zoning constraints and developer capacity. The workshop adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
