Manager Cindy Wells said the borough is researching a possible purchase of the American Legion ball fields to combine them with the borough parks system and that funding would come from outside sources and a private donor. Solicitor Wachter is preparing an agreement and the borough said it would cover any necessary closing costs and would present the proposed agreement to the American Legion for their review.
Councilor Steadman moved and Councilor Osborn seconded a motion to approve presenting the proposed agreement to the American Legion; the motion carried. No further public comment or amendment was recorded in the minutes.
