At its Sept. 16 meeting, the Union City Borough Council voted unanimously to approve submission of a CDBG application to Erie County seeking up to $100,000 for stormwater repairs in Municipal Lot #1. Councilor Steadman moved to approve the application and Councilor Osborn seconded; the motion carried.
Council discussion preceding the vote referenced sinkhole repairs and planned smoke-and-dye testing in Municipal Lot #1; borough staff will pursue the county grant as one funding source for the needed repairs.
