Council passes resolution accepting Erie Area Council of Governments audit

Union City Borough Councilors voted Aug. 27 to pass a resolution accepting the audit report for the Erie Area Council of Governments (EACOG), following the COG members’ review and acceptance.
Borough Manager Cindy Wells said each municipality is required to pass a resolution accepting the audit report as presented. Councilor Osborn moved to pass the resolution and Councilor Steadman seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The resolution document and any required administrative filings will be executed by borough staff to record the municipality’s acceptance of the EACOG audit.
