Union City Councilors voted Aug. 27 to remove a borough lien of approximately $2,690 on the property at 121 East High Street after the property was donated to the Erie County Land Bank.
Borough Manager Cindy Wells told the council the borough holds a lien against the property for $2,690 and that the Land Bank requested removal. Councilor Kerns moved "MOTION TO REMOVE/SATISFY THE LIEN AGAINST 121 EAST HIGH STREET FOR THE FULL AMOUNT, APPROXIMATELY $2,690." The motion was seconded by Councilor Steadman and carried unanimously.
Minutes record the action as a full lien removal; any administrative follow-up to record the satisfaction should be handled by borough staff and the Land Bank.
