The board also approved Jodie Miles returning to her prior position as Assistant Superintendent. The board approved several operational and program items: the Claymont Virtual Academy handbook for 2026–2027, a Title III English Learner consortium contract with the Stark County Service Center, and a contract with Wood Electric for fire alarm upgrades at Claymont High School to be paid with Permanent Improvement Funds. The minutes also record approval to rent three district buses to Dennison Depot and allow district buses to be used for YMCA summer programming with all costs charged to those organizations.
