Community Development Director Brad Johnson presented a resolution to reinstate language that establishes the building permit plan review fee at 65% of the applicable building permit fee, explaining the calculation had been omitted from a prior consolidated fee schedule even though the 65% rate had been applied in practice. Councilmember James Stavig raised questions about how the fee is calculated and transparency around permit costs.
After discussion, Councilors Stavig and DeGloria moved to adopt the resolution setting the plan review fee at 65% and to authorize the Mayor to sign; "All in favor; motion carried." The action was recorded as adopted with no recorded dissenting votes at the May 28 meeting.
