Residents press for sidewalk repairs and ADA upgrades after utility work damaged walkways

Kramer said some damage was caused by a large Jersey Central Power and Light project and urged the township to require repairs.
Officials said the sidewalks are part of an ongoing sidewalk improvement program and that ADA-compliant ramps will be installed during that program. A staff member said, "I have a meeting with the CEO of Jersey Central Power and Light ... I will absolutely have them replace that sidewalk if the easement is theirs." The committee asked residents to submit intersection locations for targeted review and said staff would follow up with a timeline and inspections.
