City amends ARPA lead service-line inventory grant deadline

Stacy, a city staff member, told the Salem City Aldermen the amendment extends the ARPA-funded lead service line inventory project period from 01/14/2026 to December 2026 so the city can submit all ARPA projects to the state. "This is just to amend that date," she said.
The aldermen opened the matter for questions, then voted on a motion to approve the signed amendment to the financial assistance agreement and general terms and conditions. The motion carried with no further discussion. The amendment requires the city to complete the work and submit ARPA project documentation to the state by the new December 2026 deadline.
