Cadan Evans of Ultimate Drifting Challenge, LLC, requested a filming permit to capture promotional footage on county-owned public roads (South Braffits Creek Road and the 3200 Subdivision Phase 2 road) on Sept. 11–12, 2026. Evans told the commission he had contacted the sheriff's office to request Volunteer Posse support for security and traffic control during filming. "The filming location would be on the public road only," Evans said when describing the planned activity.
Commissioner Paul Cozzens moved to approve the filming permit; Commissioner Michael Bleak seconded, and the motion carried with Bleak and Cozzens voting Aye and Chair Kenneth Robinson recorded as Absent. The permit approval authorizes use of the public right-of-way for filming on the specified dates; any additional permits or conditions from the sheriff's office or county departments were not detailed in the meeting record.
