Subcommittee to evaluate trainings and services; members expect at least a year of work

The subcommittee discussed Objective 4: evaluating the impact of training and services beyond individual agency initiatives. Members reported evaluations have typically been requested on a case-by-case basis and said central evaluation support could be offered to agencies that request it. The chair and Melody volunteered to evaluate trainings when requested but said evaluating broader service outcomes may be outside the group's immediate expertise.
The chair emphasized the scale of the work: "I think most of these objectives are really gonna take that minimum of year." Members agreed to reach out to stakeholders, gather existing evaluation requests and determine whether the subcommittee can offer evaluation resources or recommend independent evaluation partners. The chair will circulate updates from the UNLV data meeting and other follow-ups ahead of the next meeting.
