Members identify outreach gap in Northern Nevada; suggest multidisciplinary team involvement

Several members said Northern Nevada lacks consistent CSEC-focused outreach and that the existing Northern task force is largely human-trafficking focused. One committee member noted leadership and staffing turnover, saying: "I think there's a gap for sure up here" and that a multidisciplinary team being started may include some CSEC work but will not replace a sustained, CSEC-focused effort.
Members suggested partnering with government agencies (DPBH, DCFS) and foster-care organizations to expand reach in rural and northern areas. Staff agreed to research contacts and report back before the next meeting so the coalition can identify responsible partners for training and dissemination in those regions.
