The conservation commission voted unanimously on July 28 to accept staff's draft memo and to approve the application for S26-664418 (Roe Wheaton Avenue). Staff described a mitigation planting plan comprised of 10 shrubs (arrowwood, viburnum, American holly) and one river birch placed where the wetland line approaches the split-rail fence adjacent to Killer Brook. Alexis told commissioners the edge of the proposed pool is approximately 53 feet from the wetland line.
A commissioner moved to accept the memo and the application; the motion was seconded and carried with a unanimous vote (4–0). Staff said they will prepare the permit document, attach it to the applicant's zoning permit and notify the applicant for final pickup and the building-department appointment for required inspections.
