Council urged to fill Planning Commission vacancy ahead of July 8 hearing

"Joseph John Bartos had submitted an application to fill the unexpired term and noted the importance of filling the vacancy prior to a scheduled July 8 Planning Commission public hearing," Mr. Hudgins said. Council members did not take a vote at the work session but staff highlighted the timing sensitivity because the commission will hold a public hearing on July 8.
No objections or alternate nominees were recorded during the work session; staff said the appointment resolution for the clerk and other consent matters would appear on the formal agenda for action.
