Board approves facility-use wording changes and combined election agreement with City of Salem
Summary

On second reading the board fixed wording in the facility-use agreement to correct lessee/lessor responsibilities for door unlocking and key access; the corrected language will appear on the district website. The board moved and carried the changes on a voice vote.
Under new business the board approved a combined election agreement with the City of Salem to coordinate cost-sharing and canvass procedures for June elections. The board member recommending the agreement said the district used the same arrangement last year and recommended repeating it; the motion carried unanimously.
Other policies including public gifts to schools, solicitation and advertising, distribution and posting of promotional materials, and visitor procedures were presented for first review with no recommended changes at this time.
