The Jenkinsburg City Council voted on Jan. 12 to set the citys 2025 tax millage rate at 14.4. The motion, made by Council Member Jason Watts and seconded by Gary Roberts, passed with aye votes recorded from Watts, Joye England, Brent Eberspacher, Gary Brown and Gary Roberts.
The council also directed that the millage be rolled back to zero for LOST income credit, a technical adjustment noted in the minutes. The minutes record this as a formal motion and vote; no further discussion or public comment on the tax rate is included in the record.
