Chrissy Haskins of the Dufresne Group presented the South Village wastewater project’s tree‑removal scope, saying removal will take place on about one‑tenth of an acre of the Prouty property and that an additional five trees will be removed at 3115 Route 100. Three bids were received; Hunter Excavating’s bid was roughly $3,000 below the next lowest bidder and the estimated cost was recorded as $6,008.
Jim Fleming moved to accept Hunter Excavating’s proposal to perform the tree removal and authorized the Town Administrator to execute any necessary documents to hire the contractor; Taylor Prouty seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
