Chair reported a positive community response to calls for shelter clothing: "we had 20, some sweatshirts dropped off... and 15 plus wet pants and a bunch of leggings dropped off." She said the items are sorted and in tubs at City Hall while the committee seeks a better permanent storage location.
Members recommended a short newsletter blurb listing preferred items and asked for volunteers to continue collecting. The Chair proposed including toiletries such as soap, toothpaste, unused toothbrushes and small shampoo/soap samples and said the committee can supplement donations with purchases if needed.
