The Middletown Springs Library Board opened its regular meeting and approved the minutes of Sept. 24 after a motion by the chair and a recorded second; the board then took up routine reports and business.
Treasurer (speaker 2) delivered the board's financial snapshot, saying, "We have spent 78% of our budget," and noted the board is roughly a quarter of the way through the fiscal year and has received quarterly town allotment numbers. Following that update, the meeting moved into reports from library staff and committees and a consent vote to accept the minutes.
The vote to approve the Sept. 24 minutes carried without objection. The board also agreed to a schedule adjustment for upcoming meetings to avoid holiday conflicts and confirmed an administrative plan to sign payroll and check warrants going forward.
